This is a file which gives parents a great understanding of reasons math needs to be incorporated into the home.  This is a long article and needs to be used in pieces probably.  This is a great article and would be nice to share with parents.

This is a great resource to use when you need ideas for differentiating instruction.  This is based off the idea that you need to have different methods so that all students can find one way to learn.  Every student deserves the chance to learn.  In the classroom, this would be great to look at when ideas are needed for different methods.  Also, this is great when parents at home need ideas/help not only for the students, but also for themselves.

This PDF contains helpful tips when it comes to parents helping students with math homework.  This gives parents a bit of encouragement and some steps to move forward in the math processes. 

The end of this PDF contains a book list which would be very helpful in the classroom.  The tips would also be helpful show parents when they feel they cannot help their children with math homework.
